Igor and Denis were the first members of the band, having met one another during their vacations, way back in 2002. Millenium began in the surroundings of Igor Mukhins's bedroom studio, where they practiced the band's first material. They spent a lot of their free time playing such stuff as Nirvana and Green Day. Millenium’s early material was compared to such acts as Limp Bizkit, Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine. Both Igor and Denis wanted to get more than they had at that moment. They recruited drummer Dmitriy Kurin and a singer named Frozt, who left his band and wanted to try something new with Millenium. The band made their debut gig at Ivanovo's Rock club, and that was awesome. After that, Millenium played anywhere they could with local bands and increased their fan base. Eventually, they landed a show at Moscow legendary annual music contest Rock in the Fire in 2004. A year later, Dmitriy was dropped due to the band being dissatisfied with him and his alcohol addiction. In 2005, the band took notice of drummer Serj Kulikov after seeing his band Tvorok and attempted to get him to join Millenium. Serj initially did not want to join the band and refused them. Soon after that the guitarist of Tvorok left the band and Serj became the new drummer for Millenium. The band soon received notice that “Millenium" was already taken so the they changed their name to Flymore. Yet there was another problem there wasn’t a second guitar player. Igor proposed to invite his friend Nik a jam session and he was really great. So after some talks they started to play together. The band started playing live shows and writing new material, and in 2007, Flymore recorded their full-length debut LP (“Millenium 45”) with producer Dmitriy Taravkov. Dmitriy has previously worked with a lot of famous Russian metal acts. Flymore stayed in Moscow for three months and worked on more than 20 songs with Dmitriy at Mosfilm Studio. Together they decided on 12 of them to arrange, fine tune and shape so they best reflected the group's style. Since 2007 Flymore started touring nationwide and performing at all rock festivals all over the former USSR: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and etc. WE ARE NOT SIGNED YET!!! STAY TONED FOR THE REST OF THE STORY!!! If you wanna fly so FLY MORE!!! Ifolder Âåðíóòüñÿ íàçàä |
