1. Стиль. Намешали они знатно всего, конечно. Для таких групп 20-25 лет назад сушествовал тег "кроссовер", потом он как-то изжил себя, потому что группы такого толка сошли совсем на нет. Что тут есть? Альт.метал, ню-метал, рэпкор, ню-металкор, индастриал рок/метал, приправлено всё вкусной электроникой и парочкой деткор-пассажей.
2. Вокалист. Желаю, чтобы вокалист Sicmonic Тревор Хессьон услышал этот альбом, ибо вокалист тут очень сильно всё может. Соответственно стилям, указанным в первом пункте, он это всё исполняет, дополняя это очень быстрым речитативом, которым отличался Тревор Хессьон. Да и внешностью они похожи.
3. Все треки (разве что за исключенияем Crucify) понравились. Это целостное творение, а не просто набор каких-то несвязных треков. Все треки выдержаны в одном стиле, но не однообразны.
Bleed Me Dry, Detonate и Perfect Specimen больше всего понравились. Пока что это именно тот альбом в этом году, который остальные будут пытаться догнать по качеству и крутости.
Абсолютно однозначный альбом по выбору лучших треков: 01. Like We‘re Gunna Die 04. Leave The World 08. Let Me Go 09. Plastic 10. Dance On My Grave 11. Thunder from the Sky В целом ожидал большего, половина альбома скучная.
Тихой сапой рядом с ожидаемыми KSE рядом релизнулись эти нонеймы с материалом ничем не хуже. Причем ассоциации не ограничиваются жанром - у Scarlet Semblance и чистый вокал чем-то похож на Говарда Джонса с его страдальческо-надрывной манерой пения, по звучанию соответственно что-то среднее между его пост-KSEшными проектами Devil You Know и Light the Torch - от первых мрачная атмосфера и ярко выраженная металкор-тяжесть, от вторых заметный уклон в альту, и в обоих случаях звук жирный и сосуществующий в балансе, соотношение альтовых треков и металкорных тут примерно 50:50. Ну и местами вкрапления проговых фишек и ориентальных мелодий в духе Bleed from Within встречаются, это как вишенка на торте. Все треки при этом отличные. Не все запоминаются, но те, который это делают, выносят мозг напрочь: Nephrite Dreams ( ), Absent, Heaven Sent, No Love/No Life, Beneath, Ghost of You.
