Лютейшая груп! Учитывая что тут 2 вокалиста, которые круто дополняют друг друга, манера исполнения на высоте. Чистый на последнем альбоме радует, такой рахат-лукумовый Интересное и у них творчество, первые 2 альбома рвань страшная, 1-ая ипишка показалась чем то неопределённым, за тем чудеснейшая 2-ая ипи очень красивая, без всякой жести. Ну и финальный альбом меня удивил в своё время!
Отмечу по паре любимых треков из каждого релиза 2001 - Sorry, The River 2002 - Wide Awake, This World 2004 - One, Perfectionist Compromise 2005 - Back And Forth, Crawl + Bonus (3)
Включи мне альбом, вообще бы не сказал, что это те самые эмокорщики. И стоит сказать, смена стиля пошла группе на пользу. Конкретно для них звучит свежо и уместно.
По содержанию от эмокор-пост-хардкора, которыми они были, осталось мало, да оно и к лучшему. Всё таки, быть на сцене 20 лет, хочется играть что-то менее экспрессивное и надрывное. А вот такой приальтованный пост-хардкор самое то. Медленно, качево, со вкусом.
С первой прослушки, да и со второй зашли все треки, но особенное спасибо: Mercy Mercy спасибо за монументальный финал и Stress за качевость в духе Fever 333. Don’t Let Me Get Too Low, Confession, A Little Fight и Cherry Coke за бескончено летние вайбы, и I Will Destroy This - как одному из главных хитов на альбоме
И в целом да, если альбом будет двойной, то вполне вероятно, что на второй части или втором полноценном альбоме будет совершенно иная картинка, но здесь всё прям очень и очень хорошо. Очень понравилось. Этой части 5 баллов.
Приятный, но немного скучный материал. Есть лучше, бывали и хуже. Фанаты жанра услышат то, что хотят. Мне в целом понравилось, в паре треков даже заглядывал название треков. Вся работа на 4, и непонятно, чего не хватило, вроде всё по канонам, но не зацепило, атмосферы скорее всего мало. Самые интересные -- это Time Traveler, Black Cloud и The Weight I Bear.

Получилось средненько, вроде и есть попадание в жанры, но при этом действительно скучно слушать. Спасает положение только трио: Another Funeral Song - A Fire In The Atlantic - The Dead Don't Sleep, и отрывками зашла Ghost. Но, по сути, на альбоме собраны воедино синглы и ипихи, разбросанные за прошлые года, так что мало интересного. Послушать и забыть.
