Адепты так называемого новомодного nugaze, не до конца определившихся со стилем, даже в рамках дебютного EP ностальгируют и по эмо, и по гранжу и есессна по нюхе Прикольный боевичок netherworld вышел, но nothingchanges больше остальных цепанул, такое родное позабытое звучание adema
Конечно, до уровня прошлого альбома не дотянули, но в целом-то релиз оказался интересный. Сначала по электронике решил, что привет, у нас Papa Roach от мира пост-хардкора, но затем расслушал и под конец электроника даже понравилась, дало свой почерк у альбома.
На деле материал спорный, переходный может быть я сказал. Хитовости мало, но она есть. Больше всего зашли Infection, Necessary Evil, The Other Side и Love Is War, что к моему удивлению оказалось 40% альбома. Когда последний трек закончился, то решил сначала, что плеер на паузе, как-то резко оборвался.
И может быть от этого главная несостыковка в голове, что альбом больше похож на набор синглов, которые можно абсолютно спокойно выкидывать в рандомном порядке и они не повлияют на повествование альбома. С другой стороны, как было правильно подмечено в прошлом альбоме, коллектив всегда выдавал усредненный материал, без ярких хитов, и прошлый альбом был скорее исключением в дискографии. Здесь же послушал, может быть даже пару раз, и в целом можно подзабыть, что немного жаль.
