Bleed For Me 04. 100 Hours ifolderUNVEIL THE STRENGTH, the new Orange County, California-based quintet featuring former SILENT CIVILIAN guitarist Dave Delacruz, will digitally release its debut EP, "The Awakening", in early March. The effort was engineered by Mark Haggblad and was mixed by Mike "Mawi" Rashmawi (engineer for SILENT CIVILIAN's "Ghost Stories"). UNVEIL THE STRENGTH consists of Mark Haggblad (vocals), Dave Delacruz (guitar), Nita Strauss (guitar), Sam Hutchinson (bass), and Mark Matas (drums). The band entered its studio in Costa Mesa in September 2010 with intentions of creating music that strays away from the modern-day heavy metal genre. Though shredding leads, blistering drums and brutal screams, UNVEIL THE STRENGTH wants to offer more to the listener by bringing in the melody, singing, and soul to the mix. |
